Tinubu’s Public Affairs Aide, Aliyu Audu, Resigns
President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Aliyu Audu, has stepped down from his role, effective immediately.
In a resignation letter dated June 8, Audu addressed his notice to the president via the chief of staff.
Though brief, the letter expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve under what he described as the president’s “visionary leadership.”
“It has been an honour to contribute to the public communication efforts of this administration,” Audu wrote.
He also gave credit to Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, whose recommendation secured his appointment on August 26, 2023.
