Bauchi Special Adviser Youth And Entrepreneurship Atiku Isah Receives Praise for Youth Empowerment Initiatives

A political group has commended Atiku Isah, a Special Adviser Youth And Entrepreneurship in the Bauchi State Government, for what it described as his commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive leadership.

In a statement, the group said Mr Isah had distinguished himself through what it called selfless service and practical initiatives aimed at supporting young people, despite operating within a limited official mandate.

They noted that although he is one of several appointees serving under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Mr Isah has taken steps beyond his statutory duties to engage youths directly.

According to the group, the Special Adviser has appointed a number of young people as Special Assistants within his office, a move they said has provided opportunities, fostered inclusion and encouraged greater participation among young people in governance.

The statement described the initiative as a source of motivation for youths, adding that such actions help promote a sense of belonging and confidence in public institutions.

The group urged Mr Isah to sustain the initiative and called on Governor Bala Mohammed to take note of the efforts, describing them as reflective of people-centred leadership and responsible governance.

It also encouraged other political appointees to emulate the approach by using their positions to positively affect party supporters and the wider community.

The statement concluded that governance is fundamentally about service, adding that Mr Isah’s actions demonstrate the impact that can be achieved when public office is combined with commitment to social responsibility.
