Community Youths Pay Tribute to Lenka L. Ubandoma During Condolence Visit

A delegation representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Birshi Ward has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Lenka L. Ubandoma, a community figure popularly known as Sarkin Samarin Kusu.

Mr Ubandoma died in Nguwan Ngas, Yelwan Tudu area of Bauchi.

He was widely regarded by residents as an active member of the community.

The delegation, led by Daure David, said it was acting on behalf of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, and the Commissioner for Finance, Dr Yakubu Adamu.

Mr. David conveyed what he described as the governor’s condolences to the bereaved family and the wider community.

Speaking during the visit, he described the late Ubandoma as “a committed son of the soil” whose contributions to unity and community development would be remembered.

“We are here to commiserate with the family over this painful loss,” Mr David said. “We pray that God grants them the strength to bear the loss.”

Family members expressed appreciation for the visit, saying the show of solidarity from political representatives and community members offered comfort during a difficult period.

According to relatives, a farewell service is scheduled to take place at the family compound in Nguwan Ngas, Yelwan Tudu, on Thursday.

The remains of the deceased are expected to be transported to Kanke for burial rites.

Prayers were offered during the visit for the repose of Mr Ubandoma’s soul.

He is survived by members of his family, friends and associates, as well as a community that continues to mourn his passing.
