In response, the mother of Daure David, a prominent and resilient Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) figure in Bauchi State, led a group of relatives to the holy city of Jerusalem, where they gathered to offer prayers for Dr Yakubu Adamu.
The prayers were aimed at seeking divine protection for him against what they described as the plots of adversaries.
The video of the prayer session has since attracted significant public attention, highlighting a rare moment of collective focus and unity as the group dedicated themselves to praying for Dr Yakubu’s safety and vindication.
Supporters say the footage reflects widespread sentiment in Bauchi State, where many residents have openly rejected and condemned the allegations against Dr Yakubu Adamu, PhD, expressing solidarity with him amid the unfolding developments.
